Practice tips
- Play the sounds and techniques that you are comfortable with
- Non-didge players won’t be able to tell the difference between easy techniques and difficult ones, so stay in your comfort zone
- Think about the flow – start very simple and slowly build up the techniques/playing
- Give your audience a chance to appreciate the different sounds. Play everything for longer than you think you need to
- Resist the urge to try and get all of your tricks and techniques done quickly. Take your time – again, let your audience appreciate the beautiful sounds
- Don’t apoligise for any “mistakes”, your listeners wouldn’t have even realised if you made one
- Be confident and proud of your didgeridoo playing, your listeners will love it
