Lesson overview
Woo… hoo… it’s time to pick up your didgeridoo. In this lesson, Sanshi will teach you how to produce a good squeezing sound on a didge by loosening your lips.
Lesson goals
- Be able to do step 3 with your lips on the mouthpiece of your didgeridoo
- Be able to compare the sound of a tight lips squeeze with a loosen lips squeeze.
- Be able to produce a drone didgeridoo sound by loosening your squeeze.
Training tips
- Don’t squeeze out with your mouth too tight as this will create more vibration and will not make a very good sound on your didgeridoo.
- Try to loosen more and more until you come up with a drone sound.
- If you are having trouble, go back to the last lesson to get comfortable, then repeat this lesson
- Try to resist going to the next step until you find this step easy
- Practice this 1000 times :), you are so close now
