Double rhythm 1
Lesson overview
Sanshi shows you how to build a great sounding didgeridoo rhythm by using the Double Rhythm technique
Lesson goals
- Understand the double rhythm concept
- Be able to play the double rhythm Sanshi demonstrates
- Create your own double rhythm using your favourite didgeridoo techniques
Training tips
- It is often more difficult to remember what to play, than actually playing it. It’s a good idea to get a pen and paper and write down your rhythms so you can follow along until you remember
- Experiment! This lesson is all about showing you a new rhythm building technique that you can apply to your own favourite sounds
- It's ok if your didgeridoo sound is different. That is the beauty of the instrument… there is no right or wrong. We all have a different voice, lips, accents. Celebrate your unique sound
