Want another unusual sound on your didge? In this lesson, Sanshi will teach you how tongue click on a Didgeridoo.

Lesson goals

  • Be able to produce different sounds using tongue click.
  • Be able to pronounce all vowel sounds by tongue clicking.
  • Be able to mix tongue clicking while playing any sound on a didgeridoo.

Training tips

  • First technique is to put your tongue at the top of your mouth, the suck it in.
  • You can try all vowel sounds while you do the tongue click.
  • Different sounds are created when you change the shape of your mouth while doing the tongue click.
  • Try inserting tongue clicking on any sound you play on your didge.
